Point Blank

When I think of happiness, the first thing I think of is  family and being around those who love you.

If I were king of the world, the first global change I would make IS  to ensure that people would treat this world like it’s their home and that the environment and social settings would be better for our children and our children’s children.

When I was a young man, I wanted to be  an Olympic track and field runner. When I grew up, I wanted to be a financial advisor.

If I could dine with any three people from the past, I would select  my maternal and paternal grandmothers and ask them how my ancestors were doing. They both used to talk with me and inform me about what it was like when they were my age and how they coped with life. I would also like to talk with Harriet Tubman and listen to how she thinks we could make the world better.

A unique characteristic I have is  my ability to listen and make people comfortable with revealing what’s on their mind.

If I could have any super power, I would like to have the ability to  fly, but since I can’t fly physically, I fly my drone a lot. That will do fine
until I evolve some wings on my shoulders.

My favorite place to eat in Newport News is  MP’s.

I consider myself lucky because  I still have best friends from my childhood who are still best friends, even in 2021.

A civic organization to which I belong is  Habitat for Humanity.

The best advice I could offer someone looking to invest is  to have an honest conversation with yourself to choose your priorities and what’s most important to you. From there, make those priorities a reality. However, I encourage people to have a plan to kindle relationships with those you love because there is no ceiling for that. Once you realize those items, then everything else falls into place.
