Eleanor is currently a junior at Christopher Newport University (CNU) where she is majoring in communication studies with a double minor in journalism and leadership studies. At CNU, she is a broadcaster for the athletics program and works with The Captain’s Log, the college newspaper. Eleanor is also a part of Greek life on campus as well as the President’s Leadership Program. She has always loved writing since journaling as a young child and eventually writing in school. Writing with Oyster Pointer is fun for her and a personal accomplishment. She interned with CBS 6 News in Richmond to gain some experience in the reporting side of journalism. Eleanor’s goal is to be a full-time reporter at a news agency in Richmond after graduation.
