Gee Horton – Tidewater Home Funding

Point Blank

The best advice I can offer a first-time home buyer is  to call a licensed mortgage advisor. In today’s lending environment, it is best to get the mortgage facts pertaining to your specific situation.

For Mother’s Day, I look forward to  spending time with my kids and grandkids.

My mother’s best advice to me was: “Don’t worry about tomorrow, and accept people for who they are.”

If people would just  be patient, kind and understanding, the world would be a better place.

Something most people don’t know about me is  I lived in Germany for seven years and graduated high school in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

My work week would be incomplete without  helping someone buy a house.

I relax by  taking a walk with my puppies, two Aussie Doodles.

The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me is  planting flowers in my backyard while I was at work. Thank you, cousin Cori; my two kids, Josh and Brenna; and great niece Kendall.

I feel most inspired when  I leave church, when I leave a closing and when I have helped someone.

The secret to happiness is  intentionally being involved with the people you love… and laughing a lot!

My favorite aspect of spring in Newport News is the  community outreach in which Warwick Rotary@City Center participates and getting ready for our largest fundraiser, Beer, Bacon, Bourbon Bash on May 25 at Virginia Living Museum.

If I could say one more thing to everyone reading this,  people will always remember how you made them feel. Each day, put another person above yourself.
