Robert Napora, owner and founder of Windows and More Inc., has been in the home improvement industry since he was a young man working with his father. “I learned the business from the ground up by being a helper, installer and now a business operator. This business was taught to me by my father when I was 12,” he says, reflecting on time spent learning the trade with his family.
Located in Newport News, the company is conveniently settled between Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, allowing Napora to have a central point within the area his company serves. “We’re still new to the area,” he says, “but in the little time we have been here, we have gained a combined total of 15 five-star reviews!”
Napora feels lucky to have learned the home improvement trade from his dad while in high school. He joined the Marines after graduating and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He then re-entered the industry. “I’ve been doing this for a really long time now. I’ve served a lot of the public as a seasoned operator in this industry,” he says.
Windows and More provides a variety of services to the Peninsula, including installation of windows, entry doors, siding, storm and patio doors. While its services are mostly residential, the company occasionally performs light commercial work for projects such as small offices and hotels. Napora states that they are “fast, clean, reliable, dependable and honest” every moment on the job.
More than anything, Windows and More is concerned about the needs of its customer. “The customer is our biggest priority. We want to help each one make the right choice. I think the reward comes when you help the customer. We strive to make people feel comfortable throughout the whole process.” This business holds customer interest above all else as its first priority. This means, according to Napora, providing “a good quality product, never anything second rate.”
When he is not busy serving the community, Napora can be found doing a variety of activities with his family. He enjoys fishing, fine dining and traveling. Napora also loves exercising with his two sons.
